LAURA SAWYER

Laura began her career in North Carolina before moving to Nashville, where she spent several years building her career in big box hotels. With a strong background in event planning and hospitality, she has worked at top-tier venues like the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, Gaylord Opryland Resort and Omni Nashville in Music City, TN, where she honed her skills in corporate meetings, conventions, and large-scale events.

Since founding her own business, Laura has focused on providing expert event planning services to a wide range of clients. Whether coordinating large-scale conferences with 25,000 attendees or managing intimate board meetings, she excels in delivering seamless, high-quality experiences tailored to each client’s unique needs. Laura’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence make her a trusted partner for events of all sizes and complexities.

CHRISTINE NELIS

Christine is a seasoned hospitality professional with an impressive career, having built extensive experience in both conference planning and catering event sales. Based in Pittsburgh after spending a decade in Nashville, she has a reputation for being incredibly detail-oriented and bringing a high level of professionalism to everything she does.

Outside of her career, Christine is passionate about staying active and enjoys kickboxing. She’s also a devoted dog lover, and likes to visit local breweries or wineries when traveling. With a keen eye for precision and a strong work ethic, we are lucky to have Christine as our Meetings Manager!

KATHLEEN SMITS

Kathleen is a versatile designer with a passion for creativity and communication. She graduated with a degree in Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina and has since built a dynamic career, holding various marketing & graphic design roles across different industries. With a keen eye for design and strategy, Kathleen has honed her skills in working with our clients to help bring their visual event elements to life.

Outside of her professional life, Kathleen is a proud mom of two and values family time above all. In a delightful twist of fate, Kathleen and Laura, who have been lifelong friends, are now also neighbors!
